Time to CELEBRATE - Value Champion Alert!

We are very excited and pleased to share with you that we have more Clockhouse Value Champions of 2022-2023!

A huge congratulations to

Lainey S (Fiji)
who has earned the Respect Champion Award for 2022-2023!

It has been a pleasure to serve Lainey breakfast. She is always polite to every one of us and has impeccable manners.  She always helps to clean up messes that have been caused by others and makes sure that everyone is happy. She simply shows respect to one and all.

Tyler K (India)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!

Tyler is a hardworking member of the class. His work is always to a very high standard and he enjoys a challenge.  Tyler is engaged in all lessons and is always happy to share his ideas.  I am really pleased with his dedication and love for learning. Keep it up Tyler.

Isaac P (China)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2022-2023!

This person has shown excellence in computing and as well as showcasing an entrepreneurial spirit. They have used time in school and at home to create a series of Scratch 'games'. Some are educational (for example a game ordering the planets which was used at the Year 5 science fair), some build on what we have done in our computing lessons in class and others are made for the enjoyment of others. This person's most recent game has been played by over 30 people and is very popular with other members of the class. Even more impressively, he actively asks other children for their feedback on his games, listens to their feedback and he then acts on it, editing his games accordingly. This not only shows an excellence in terms of computing skills but also excellence in terms of maturity and showing a positive proactive attitude.

Elijah R (Japan)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2022-2023!

He showed excellent behaviour and attitude to his learning whilst some of his class went to Condover Hall.  Whilst on a trip to bowling he was outstanding in representing the school,  showing fantastic manners to all staff members and for that I would like to nominate him.

Darshil P (South Africa)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2022-2023!

He is always looking out for his classmates and puts others needs before his own. He is always considerate and thinks carefully how others would feel.

Agnes C (Canada)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!

She is a person who always tries her best in every lesson, but her most amazing achievement is in reading. She not only works hard in reading lessons, but reads everyday at home. When she finds a topic that interests her, such as Queen Elizabeth II, she will pursue opportunities to read discover more. She is a model learner for all of her classmates and year group.

Olivia M (Canada)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2022-2023!

She is a person for whom not every aspect of learning comes easily, she can find some areas of learning challenging, but she never ever gives up, always showing that secret forth R, resilience! She works so hard to improve when completing tasks with adults both in class and outside of it. She could easily have given up at so many times this year, but has always persevered with a smile on her face. This level of dedication to improvement more than justifies recognition! Excellence is not about being the best, it's about trying to be the best you can be every day and she is a role model to us all for this!

Olivia R (Canada)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2022-2023!

She is not a person who necessarily stands out as one of the most kind and caring members of her class, but this is exactly why she deserves recognition. She quietly, yet kindly , consistently looks after and supports her classmates, whether this be in a task they find challenging or when they are upset, without any expectation of being rewarded for it. She has an incredible way of making sure her peers feel supported without judgement. She is both an excellent role model and a nurturing member of year 2, which has not gone unnoticed!

A huge well done from everyone at Clockhouse - wear your Values Champion Badge with pride!
