Day 22 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

Well done to all our Home Heroes and all our Hawaii Heroes today. We have seen some fabulous learning in school and at home. It has also been lovely to see so many of you on Zoom.

The longer this goes, I do feel the harder it is getting. The lack of certainty moving forward, I know for me makes it even harder. Today the leadership team have talked about planning for the future but as we are not certain what this will look like, it is so hard. If you know me at all, you know I love a plan so this makes it even harder. Together we just have to take one step at a time and move through this as best we can. We all have good days and bad days, this is normal. If you are having a bad day or days please know you are not alone - things will get better and obviously we are here to help you should you need us.

Team Hawaii have had another busy day! Year 3 and 4 particularly enjoyed doing one of Mr Yarrow's PE challenges!

We are very much looking forward to seeing what you chose to wear for this week's 'Feel-good Friday Fashions'. Remember that the theme is 'Express Yourself'! Obviously anyone can join in and I know the staff are busy thinking about what they are going to wear! Remember teachers are busy looking for Home Learning Heroes and Hawaii Heroes. Achievement Assembly will be posted, as last week, on Friday morning for you all to watch with Hot Chocolate with the Head being posted at 2.30pm.

Keep going team Clockhouse, you are doing such a fantastic job under such difficult circumstances. Please look after yourselves, follow the rules and stay safe, only by doing this and working together will we get through this.

Remember in the words of Sir Captain Tom Moore 'For all those who are finding it difficult at the moment: the sun will shine on you again and the clouds will go away'. Following the sad news of his passing yesterday, Boris Johnson will be leading at tribute to him at 6pm tonight and has asked the nation to clap with him in Sir Tom's honour. Clockhouse community please come together and show our appreciation. RIP Captain Sir Tom Moore.

Stay safe everyone!
#ourclockhousefamily
Kind regards
Mrs Savidge
