Day 28 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

Here we are, one more sleep until half term! 6 weeks in and I am sure many of you are looking forward to a well earned bit of rest and relaxation. I know myself and the staff are. It has been another busy day and we all continue to be very impressed with your considerable efforts to help us and support us in our drive to educate your children during such a strange and difficult time.

With half term approaching, we understand it is going to be welcomed but I know some of you are worried and anxious about this time. If you feel like this, we would advise as far as possible you do try to keep some routine going. This will also help when our virtual school and Hawaii return to learning on Monday 22nd February.

We continue to work hard to all live up to our school values of Nurture, Respect, Learning, Community, Excellence and Excitement. Well done everyone! We also continue to use our curriculum drivers of Challenge, Global Citizenship, Aspiration, Well-Being, Creativity and Cultural Capital to drive what we do. Have you seen any of these or our values in action? Please do let us know. We hope that you continue to see the values and the drivers in lessons.

The staff have enjoyed the opportunity to meet with many of you during Parent / Teacher Consultations and have found these useful. If you have not yet booked this in, please get in touch with your child's teacher. These are continuing after half term so there is plenty of time to get booked in.

Team Hawaii have had another productive day in school. With your help we continue to work hard to minimise the number of children in school as much as possible to reduce the risk to all. Thank you for your help with this.

Things to look out for:
  • Achievement Assembly is coming your way tomorrow morning - who is going to be a hero this week (we have so many)?
  • Hot Chocolate with the Head will be coming out at 2.30pm tomorrow.
  • Our Clockhouse Heart appeal - please keep sharing your hearts with us. We hope more of you have had your treats through the door. Our hearts are spreading around the world and we are looking forward to sharing these with you.
  • The launch of the OCA (Our Clockhouse Association) in conjunction with Keystones half term challenge.
Remember tomorrow is  'Feel-good Friday Fashions' where you are all invited to come dresseed in what not to wear!

Have a good evening Team Clockhouse!
Keep going and please, please stay safe!
#ourclockhousefamily - we can do this!
1 more day!
Kind regards
Mrs Savidge
