Day 30 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you all had a lovely half term and made the most of a different type of holiday! It has been lovely to welcome you back today either in our virtual school or in actual school and the staff have loved seeing you all on Zoom. The teachers have been very impressed with how quickly the children have settled back into their learning. Well done everyone! It has certainly been great to see lots of fabulous learning.

As I send this, we eagerly await what Boris will say. There has obviously been a lot of speculation in the media but I am sure, like me, we need to hear it first hand before we get excited and start making plans. Whatever the plan is moving forward, we will get through it together. I am sure there will be many mixed emotions, many questions and everyone will have their own thoughts and views. As I am sure you can appreciate whatever is confirmed, we will need time to think and plan. We will communicate with you in due course. Please look out for this as well as my normal Tuesday virtual newsletter. I think we can certainly say we are closer to getting back to some level of normality!

We hope you enjoyed our Clockhouse Does Strictly video we sent out this morning. If you have not seen it yet please click on the link below to see our Strictly Stars:

I hope many of you have also seen the launch of our Masked Reader Challenge to commemorate World Book Day on Thursday 4th March. Each day there will be a different reader (or two) hidden behind a mask, your job is to enjoy the story being read and of course guess who the reader behind the mask is. On World Book Day, there will be a Google Form uploaded to Google Classroom for you to reveal all of your answers! Click on the link below to listen to today's story and guess who is behind the mask:

Look out for communication after tonight's announcement, my weekly virtual newsletter (tomorrow) and the theme for this Friday's 'Feel-good Friday Fashions' as well as February's Newsletter.

Keep being amazing team Clockhouse!
Please look after yourselves, follow the rules and stay safe, only by doing this and working together will we get through this.
#ourclockhousefamily
Kind regards
Mrs Savidge
