Day 17 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

Can you believe we are on Day 17 - it does seem so hard to comprehend that we are here. I hope you have all had the best day possible,

I am sure many of you heard Boris' announcement today and that the children will not be returning to school immediately after the February half term as originally said. He did however say that if targets are achieved they would look at beginning to reopen schools on 8th March. This is by no means set but does  at least tell us that we will be in this situation to at least this point. I understand for many of you that this will be very disappointing news and difficult to hear. It is for us, as we would like nothing more as to have all the children back. We are here to support each of you and will do all we can to make this as easy as possible.

Team Hawaii have had another busy and enjoyed seeing many of you on Zoom!

Important
Please can I ask that you do not post pictures or videos of any live Zoom lessons on Social Media. As parents and carers of our school we ask that you take this request seriously and uphold this. If I do hear of anything being posted, I will be in touch and it just makes a very awkward conversation for everyone! Thank you in advance for protecting all involved.

We are very much looking forward to seeing what you chose to wear for this week's 'Feel-good Friday Fashions'. Remember that the theme is 'Happy Heads'! Obviously anyone can join in and I know the staff are busy thinking about what they are going to wear!

Remember teachers are busy looking for Home Learning Heroes and Hawaii Heroes. Achievement Assembly will be posted, as last week, on Friday morning for you all to watch with Hot Chocolate with the Head being posted at 2.30pm. Keep sending in your 'Clockhouse does Strictly' videos. We have some special guests doing tomorrows dance!

Keep going team Clockhouse, you are doing such a fantastic job under such difficult circumstances.

Please look after yourselves, follow the rules and stay safe, only by doing this and working together will we get through this.

The below poem was written by a member of a community - it says it so much better than I ever could!
Stay safe!
#ourclockhousefamily
Kind regards
Mrs Savidge
