Good
evening Clockhouse
I have to
start by saying well done! Well done for simply coping and managing
through this terrible time. But also a big well done to the children, we have
the privilege of seeing some fabulous work come through everyday but today
there has been some truly excellent work - well done to you all for being the best that you can be. All we ask is that you continue to try and try your best,
unfortunately I do have to say trying your best does not mean doing nothing!
We want to work with you all for the good of your children so please do work
with us. If you feel we are getting it wrong tell us but equally if you feel we
are getting something right tell us too!
Our thoughts continue to go to those in our community (and beyond) who are
poorly at the moment. Watching the news and hearing about people we know being
so poorly is so hard and sad but reminds me (and us all, I hope) why we are
doing this and why we have to keep going.
We continue to work hard to all live up to our school values of Nurture,
Respect, Learning, Community, Excellence and Excitement. Well done everyone! I
hope you have enjoyed the things we have been sending out that reflect some of
our values! We also continue to use our curriculum divers of Challenge, Global
Citizenship, Aspiration, Well-Being, Creativity and Cultural Capital to drive
what we do. Have you seen any of these or our values in action? Please do let
us know.
Team Hawaii have had another productive day but I am sure I speak for the
Hawaii children and staff team when I say we just cannot wait to see you all
back with us. It is just all too quiet. With your help we continue to work hard
to minimise the number of children in school as much as possible to reduce the
risk to all. Thank you for your help with this.
Things to look out for:
- For all you SumDog and mathematicians out there, you have until 8pm this evening to take part in the competition.
- Achievement Assembly is coming your way tomorrow morning - who is going to be a hero this week (we have so many)?
- Hot Chocolate with the Head will be coming out at 2.30pm tomorrow.
- Our Clockhouse Heart appeal - please keep sharing your hearts with us. Next week our teams will be out on the streets looking for these!
- The final part of Clockhouse does Strictly for you to learn and then send in you videos.
Remember
tomorrow is 'Feel-good Friday Fashions' where you are
all invited to wear some fabulous head wear!
