Day 9 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

Well, here we are at the end of week 2 and what a good week it has been! Fast and furious as always! You all (adults and children alike) continue to astound us all with your support, understanding and commitment. This is hard but it would be truly impossible without the whole community pulling together and working together! Thank you! Thank you also to those who have sent emails into school thanking staff members. It has been a lovely surprise when I have opened the office inbox! It is always lovely to read the positive but equally if you feel we are not doing something or need to adapt please do let us know. We want to do our absolute best by you all.

I am proud to tell you that we have had a 90% uptake on Zoom sessions and very similar in Google Classroom. Although this is little less than last week it is still absolutely phenomenal and is testimony to the hard work of the staff and the importance that you are all placing on the education of your child during this time. I know it is hard to remain motivated but please do keep going and I know we will be able to get this percentage up a little next week. If you did not get involved this week, please do try next week, it will really make the experience of home learning (and teaching) so much easier for all concerned! Keep going and please do not stress yourselves out. We are here to help you in any way that we can.  If you do want a phone call, please just request this via Dojo or call the school office.

Well done to Team Hawaii who have continued to take the new regime in their stride! Thank you to you all for ensuring that you are only sending your children to school if absolutely necessary. The more children who can stay at home, the safer we all are and the quicker we will get through this time.

As I am sure you will agree the staff have done an absolutely fabulous job once again this week in more ways than one! I am sure like us you are glad that it is Friday. We all (including yourselves) need a little break at the weekend - this is definitely a marathon not a sprint and we do still have a long way to go! Please do have a rest so that you are ready, refreshed and ready to go again on Monday. I will be in touch with the normal Sunday reminders.

All that leaves me to say is, thank you for your continued support and kind words at what is such a difficult time for us all and from all at Clockhouse have a great weekend at home! A big round of applause and thank you for our wonderful community.

Have a good one!
Enjoy the selection of photos!
Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling
