Day 10 of the Clockhouse Family (part 1)

Good morning Clockhouse

Welcome to Friday, it has been another long and tricky week but we have made it!

I hope you are well and enjoying this unprecendented time with your children. Really today should be the end of the term, when we would have said goodbye for 2 weeks and wished you a wonderful  Easter holiday. Well that is certainly not the case although we do wish you a wonderful Easter! School will continue to be open next week for the small minority of children who need us as their parents work on the front line for us all.

Today will be the last day of learning being set daily on Google Classroom for the next two weeks. Everyone does need a break, including you and the children. So that you have something to keep you going we will still provide a weekly overview for you to use as well as daily challenges should you wish to make use of these. Normal business with Google Classroom will resume on 20th April. Please do enjoy the break!

Thank you on behalf of the school staff for being truly wonderful, your respect, kindness, lovely comments and general support has been so appreciated by us all at what is such a tricky time. How amazing was the clapping again last night - communities are certainly coming together!

In school, 'Team F1' are in working with the children and supporting the community. Miss Marsh is working with Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and Miss Taylor is with Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. They are supported by Mrs Britten and Mrs Williams. Mrs Moore is in the office and we also have Mr Ron with us. I am in school today whilst the rest of the staff work remotely at home supporting you all! Please do get in touch with them via Dojo or Google Classroom, they like to know how you are all doing. It is really hard for us all not knowing how you all are when we are so used to seeing you all everyday!

There is lots to look out for today - a plank challenge from one of the Governors, Day 9 of the 30 Day Lego Challenge, the Challenge of the Day and Word of the Day. Keep an eye out at 2.30pm for our new style Hot Chocolate with the Head - get your hot chocolate ready!

Please keep the #ourclockhousefamily going with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. It is great to see you all do the same! Remember you can follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
You can also post on our Twitter feed - @ClockhousePrim

Keep in touch.
Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling

Mrs Savidge
