Day 25 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you all continue to be well and were all out clapping last night, there seems to be an ever growing number of people joining in. Thank you for all that you are doing as a community. The more we do as we need the sooner we will be back together. It has certainly been a strange start to the new term but we are definitely making the best of the situation.

We have seen some lovely acts of kindness today as per the challenge of the day as well as some great 'Create the Hashtag' challenges. Look out for more to come and if you have been nominated then give it a go. Look out for the challenges next week, there are three coming out where we need your help!

'Team F1' have been working with the children and supporting the community today.  The children in school have spent time outside as well as enjoying cup stacking and continuing with the art activities from yesterday. Miss Marsh has worked with Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and Miss Taylor with Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. They have been supported by Miss Britten and Mrs Williams. Mrs Moore has been in the office and we also had Mr Ron with us. Mrs Reinecke has been in school today whilst I have been only a call away.

Highlights of the Week:

All your amazing home learning and the things you have been getting up to at home and at school are a highlight of every week and can be seen in the photos below. Other highlights this week have to be:
  • Mrs Everingham going live of Facebook to the community for our very own 'Joe Wicks style workout'
  • Mr Yarrow's new challenge
  • The delivery of rainbow bookmarks and pencils to the community and the lovely feedback we have received
  • The Middle Leadership Team having a virtual meeting on Zoom as well as the Governing Body doing the same
  • The teachers speaking to many of you on the phone
These are just a few, there really are so many more! What has been your highlight of the week? Please share and post in the comments.

Please try and make the most of the weekend and enjoy time as a family. Get some rest ready to go again on Monday. Please look out for something special coming out over the weekend and the normal weekly reminders on Sunday.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that you are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

All that leaves me to say is, thank you for your continued support and kind words at what is such a difficult time for us all and from all at Clockhouse Primary School have a great weekend at home!

Enjoy the selection of photos below!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling
