Day 13 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you are all well and getting some rest and relaxation over the Easter break. It is lovely that the weather is so nice but also so hard that we can't go out, but as we all know, the quicker we all stay in the quicker this will be over.

We have had a productive day at school with Mrs Lowe and Mrs Newman laminating 400 sheets which will be used by local hospitals to act as face masks. We will keep doing more until it is no longer needed.

'Team W2' have been working with the children and supporting the community today. Miss Everingham has worked with Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and Miss Wilson with Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. They have been supported by Mrs Smith and Mrs Jackson. Mrs Newman has been in the office and we also had Mr Ron and Mr Gary with us. I have also been in school today. Some of the children started to day with the Joe Wicks, the adults also tried to join in - I am not sure if it is getting easier or harder. They then did some art work, had a great time outside and they also backed some lovely Easter cakes!

Please do keep reading with your child, the importance of this cannot be overstated which is illustrated by this picture. Can you us some pictures of what the children are reading or recommendations that we can share with others?

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that you are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other everyday but we are still one community who care for each other!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
