Day 34 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you are all well and are making the most of this time at home, the lovely weather certainly helps although can make it harder to stay at home! It is hard to believe that we are nearly at the end of Week 7! Still the more we do as we have been told the closer we will get to getting some level of normality back, whatever the new normal will look like. Let us hope the Government will tell us something on Sunday that will indicate what the future may hold.

I have seen some great superheroes today and some thoughtful and interesting superpowers! As well as some great work and learning! Well done all!

In school, the children have been busy, they completed their Google Classroom learning and then have enjoyed an afternoon outdoors doing lots of gardening and forest school activities! 'Team Th3' have been working with the children and supporting the community. Miss Burrell has worked with Nursery, Reception and Year 1, Mrs Redgrave with Year 2, 3 and 4 and Miss Jones with Year 5 and 6. They have been supported by Mrs Odger and Mrs Jackson. We also had Mr Ron with us. I have also been in school today.

Remember to look out for our virtual Achievement Assembly tomorrow morning just after 9.00am, where I will be announcing our next set of Home Learning Heroes. Remember also to look out for Hot Chocolate with the Head at 2.30pm tomorrow! Over the weekend we will be launching a week long challenge for many of you to compete in so watch this space - exciting times ahead!

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Remember to clap tonight for all those people doing so much for our country as well as our own key workers, front line workers and our own school staff!

Enjoy VE Day tomorrow. Please be aware that school will actually be closed tomorrow due to the parents not needing us, therefore we will not be contactable by phone.

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling
Missing you all
Mrs Savidge
