Day 42 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you have all had an enjoyable day whatever you have been up to, the weather can certainly help. We have been very busy planning in school for when the school begins to reopen to the wider school community. There really is so much to consider and with more meetings tomorrow between myself and the Local Authority, I hope to be in a position to communicate further plans with you in the near future. I hope you found my message this morning a little reassuring and alleviated some of your concerns.

Thank you to everyone who continues with the amazing jobs you are doing at home. Your pictures and the work continue to brighten our day, thank you so much for taking the time to send them, it really does mean so much to us. As always if you need anything just drop teachers a message and they will get back to you, remember also that school phones are manned each day from 7.45am - 3.45pm (please use option 3 or 5). Keep remembering that every child and every school in the country are in the same boat and it will be ok! We are lucky to have an amazing staff and community at Clockhouse who are eager, ready and waiting to do what they do best and support you and your children for now remotely but hopefully, soon in person!

In school, the children have been busy, they completed their Google Classroom learning and have enjoyed completing some art work as well! Team T2' have been working with the children and supporting the community. Mrs Curry has worked with Nursery, Reception and Year 1, Miss Maan with Year 2, 3 and 4 and Miss Watkins with Year 5 and 6. They have been supported by Mrs O'Connor and Mrs Richards. Mr Koten has been in the office. Today the whole of the Senior Leadership Team has been in school planning for the next phase and have been supported in this by Mr Gary and Mr Ron.

Tomorrow
Keep an eye out for the very special challenge coming your way tomorrow. Has anyone worked out what special national day it is tomorrow?

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Keep going team, I could not be more proud of each and every one of you!

You certainly are all AWESOME!
Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
