Day 38 of The Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you have had a good day, you are all doing such a fabulous job during this difficult and uncertain time. We have received more great photos today, keep them coming!

Please be assured that plans are beginning to take shape for some of the children returning to school. As I said yesterday, we will only communicate this with you once we are happy with our plans. We want nothing more than to be back together as you know, but need to take a very considered and methodical approach to ensuring our return to some schooling is safe and manageable. We  are therefore clear that we do not want to make any rash decisions but also give you enough time to make any decisions and arrangements you need to. I am sure that you can all appreciate this and I thank you for your understanding during this time. As I also said yesterday, we do know that school will look very different to what you have been used to prior to lock down. We are aiming to provide an update on Friday to outline our early thinking with further communication towards the middle of next week.

I hope you enjoyed story time with Mrs Redgrave earlier in the week and with Miss Maan today as well as the live workout led by Mrs Everingham.

In school, the children have been busy but fun day, they completed their Google Classroom learning whilst also doing some art and dance - they have been making something for you all with the help from the big people, watch this space. 'Team W1' have been working with the children and supporting the community. Mrs Everingham has worked with Nursery, Reception and Year 1. Mrs Fletcher with Year 2, 3 and 4 and Miss Ward with Year 5 and 6. They have been supported by Mrs Coulter, Mrs Paget and Miss Ibrahima. Mrs Lowe has been in the office and we also had Mr Gary and Mr Ron with us. I have been also been in school today.

Don't forget
Look out for our 'Hi and Thank You' video coming out this evening!
I will be hosting our next virtual Achievement Assembly on Friday at 9.10am.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling

Mrs Savidge
