Day 37 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you have all had a good day. I hope you found my message this morning a little reassuring. We all have so many questions but we are gradually getting some answers to inform our planning. We will only communicate this with you once we are happy with our plans so please to bear with us. We want nothing more than to be back together as you know, but need to take a very considered and methodical approach to ensuring our return to some schooling is safe and manageable. What I can tell you is that schooling will look very different to what you have been used to prior to lock down. We  are therefore clear that we do not want to make any rash decisions but also give you enough time to make any decisions and arrangements you need to.

Thank you to everyone who continues with the amazing jobs you are doing at home. Your pictures and the work look great, please keep them coming. Although lovely to see, it reminds us how much we do miss you all especially the children. The staff continue to work hard to keep up with you and answer your questions and queries. If you need anything just drop them a message and they will get back to you. Keep remembering that every child and every school in the country is in the same boat and it will be ok! We are lucky to have an amazing staff and community at Clockhouse who are eager, ready and waiting to do what they do best and support you and your children for now remotely but hopefully, soon in person!

In school, the children have been busy, they completed their Google Classroom learning and have enjoyed completing some art work as well! Team T1' have been working with the children and supporting the community. Mrs Overton has worked with Nursery, Reception and Year 1. Miss Bowdery with Year 2, 3 and 4 and Miss Williams with Year 5 and 6. They have been supported by Miss Kerr and Mrs Richards. Mrs Everingham has been in the office and we also had Mr Gary with us. Mrs Reinecke has been in school today whilst I have only been a call away.

Tomorrow
Do not forget to tune in tomorrow for Mrs Everingham's live workout on the school Facebook page. This is at 10am. Get your shoutouts ready and listen for some coming your way!

Also keep an eye out for our 'Thank you' video coming your way tomorrow! It is looking really lovely!

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Keep going team, I could not be more proud of each and every one of you!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling

Mrs Savidge
