Day 44 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you are all looking after yourselves and each other and are enjoying the lovely weather again today. It is hard to believe we are at Thursday again and coming to the end of week 9 of this regime.  We continue to make our plans for the re-opening of the school to some of you for the beginning of June. Thank you to all those in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 who have already completed the questionnaire, your honesty along with the many lovely comments you have been so welcomed. As I write we have had 150 returns out of a possible 360 - we really do this information by tomorrow at 9am, please ensure we have this to aid us in our planning. If you have not completed the questionnaire yet and have a children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 or Year 6 please follow the link below and complete the questionnaire:

As our planning moves forward, we will of course communicate this with you in an open, honest and timely manner.

In school, the children have been busy, they completed their Google Classroom learning and then have enjoyed an afternoon of art! 'Team Th2' have been working with the children and supporting the community. Miss Fisher has worked with Nursery, Reception and Year 1, Mrs Hoyle with Year 2, 3 and 4 and Miss Tolaini with Year 5 and 6. They have been supported by Mrs Brown and Miss Brown. We also had Mr Ron with us. Mrs Reinecke has been in school whilst I have been only a phone call away.

Remember to look out for our virtual Achievement Assembly tomorrow morning just after 9.00am, where I will be announcing our next set of Home Learning Heroes. Remember also to look out for Hot Chocolate with the Head at 2.30pm tomorrow.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Remember to clap tonight for all those people doing so much for our country as well as our own key workers, front line workers and our own school staff!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay positive everyone
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
