Day 58 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

We hope you have all had a good day and are keeping well during this difficult time. Not such nice weather today which makes it all so much harder for use all. Please remember that wherever you are and whatever you are doing we are here for you and will continue to do all that we can do to help you, please just ask.

As it is Wednesday, Team Hawaii have been the only children in school today and we are very much looking forward to seeing some of the Year 1 and Year 6 children back to school again tomorrow. The same arrangements will apply as last week. Please do not worry if the gate is locked when you arrive, we will soon be there to let you in! As always, I do thank you all so, so much for your support and understanding during this difficult time. We have certainly received some lovely messages and emails during the last week and these are so very welcomed by us all.

Well done to all those who have been taking part in the Virtual London Youth Games and showing the schools support for the Havering Hurricanes. Well done also to those who have signed up to the Summer Reading Challenge - it is not too late to do so it you have not already done so. Well done to one of our families who got a retweet from the famous author Nick Sharratt and Puffin Books this week after getting involved in the Puffin Festival of Big Dreams - take a look at our Twitter. Again it is not too late to join this also and will last for the rest of this week.

As it stands currently, we are awaiting updates from the Department for Education about the plans moving forward and will of course update you when we know more. I can only apologise for this and again I thank you for your understanding.

Do not forget that we have our next virtual assembly on Friday. The teachers are still looking for their next Home Learning Heroes! Keep working hard team Clockhouse.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Have a lovely evening.
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
