Day 59 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

Well here I am again! The end of another day and nearly the end of another week. The end of Week 12, who would ever have thought when I started the daily update, I would get even close to Day 60, but still here I am and as a team we are still going strong!

It was lovely to see some of Year 1 and Year 6 children and families back again today. Again they worked hard and have been very quick and eager to adapt to the new regime - well done all!  We look forward to seeing you again tomorrow and of course 'Team Hawaii'.

Remember to look out for our virtual Achievement Assembly tomorrow morning just after 9.00am, where I will be announcing this week's Home Learning Heroes. Remember also to look out for Hot Chocolate with the Head at 2.30pm tomorrow. I hope you have enjoyed story time time with Miss Bowdery and Mr Terry this week also.

I know many of you are eager to know who your child's class teacher will be next year, we are nearly in a position to tell you this and hope that this will be ready to come to you towards the end of next week all being well. We hope this will help reduce some anxieties around next year and we are busy planning ways to introduce the children to their new teacher as well as getting the opportunity to say goodbye to their current teacher. Please do be aware that whilst we can give you certainty in terms of your child's teacher for next year we cannot tell you what schooling will look like in September and continue to wait for further guidance. We also continue to wait for guidance about any further reopening this side of the summer holiday.

As we get closer to the summer holiday we are planning some exciting things for you and the children and will be communicating these with you soon!

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Keep going Team Clockhouse, we will be together again one day. But in the meantime please know how exceptionally proud of you we all are and how much we truly miss you!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay positive everyone, keep going!
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
