Day 69 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

As we near the end of another week, here I am again with the daily update. Perhaps I should have stopped these when the government stopped their daily briefing?

Wow it has been a hot one today. Whilst I hope you have all enjoyed some time outdoors in the glorious weather, please do also remember to be careful!

It has been lovely to welcome back more children from Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 today. They certainly did us and their families proud. The way children take things in their stride and adapt still never ceases to amaze me after all these years!

The whole of the Senior Leadership Team have been in school today planning for what next week looks like. I can confirm that everyone who requested a place has one and if you have not heard from your class teacher or a member of the Senior Leadership Team yet you will do. This will be to confirm arrangements and to tell you teachers, classes, times of the day etc. Thank you to all who have been phoned who have been so understanding about the arrangements, I am beginning to learn how to get a square peg into a round whole, but even with a sledge hammer this is sometimes not possible! Calls will continue tomorrow, so if you have not had one yet do not panic. Another virtual tour will be coming out to help new year groups rejoining us know what to do.

Well done to everyone who has worked hard in school today or been busy with our virtual school. There has been some great work and photos seen!

Remember to look out for our virtual Achievement Assembly tomorrow morning just after 9.00am, where I will be announcing this week's Home Learning Heroes. Remember also to look out for Hot Chocolate with the Head at 2.30pm tomorrow. I hope you have enjoyed story time with Miss Wilson yesterday. Also coming out tomorrow will be news of our annual sponsored event which OCA will be running for us this year!

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Keep going Team Clockhouse, we will be together again one day. But in the meantime please know how exceptionally proud of you we all are and how much we truly miss you!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay positive everyone, keep going!
Below is one of my favourite quotes and so true at the moment!
Stay safe and keep smiling
