Day 73 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

We hope you have all had a good day and are managing to have some fun whilst keeping going through this difficult time. I do hope we are getting there slowly (and carefully) but surely!

Today has been a busy day. This morning the Teaching Staff Team met and we spoke about the final arrangements for the end of term and did lots of thinking and some planning for September. The teachers have all been in training all day thinking more about our curriculum - exciting times ahead! I can confirm that School Reports will be coming home to you on 13th July. This will be in PDF format via your personal Dojo. If you do want a paper copy, you will have the opportunity to request this. I can also confirm that Zoom meet the teacher sessions will take place on Monday 20th July - please get the date in your diary. A timetable will be sent out as will the arrangements for logging on nearer the time.

As it is Wednesday, Team Hawaii have been the only children in school today and we are very much looking forward to seeing some of the Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children at school again tomorrow. We are also very much looking forward to welcoming back Year 3. I know I cannot wait to see you all nor can your teachers! If you are in Year 3 or 6, please do not worry if the back gate is locked when you arrive, we will soon be there to let you in!

Do not forget that we have our next virtual assembly on Friday. The teachers are still looking for their next Home Learning Heroes! Keep working hard team Clockhouse.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
I love the below sentiment which was kindly given to us by one of the families! I really hope you all feel like this, we have worked so hard to keep the community together, which we hope will help the children and you all as we return.
Have a lovely evening.
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
