Day 79 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

It is hard to believe we are back to Thursday again already! We all hope you are keeping well and, of course, that the children are working hard and doing their best whether it be at home or at school. Just like last week, we have been so impressed with the work that has been coming in from our virtual school this week. We hope the children have learnt lots about the country for their new class. Next week, the learning will be asking the children to reflect on this year, again with the aim to impress both their current and their new teacher. It was lovely to see Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 3 and Year 6 back again today and we look forward to seeing them back tomorrow.

Thank you to all those who have completed the annual summer term questionnaire, if you have not done so already please follow the link below and complete it, your feedback is invaluable to us:

I can confirm that annual school reports will be coming home to you on Monday, these will be sent via your child's Dojo account. Also, if you have not received a call yet, your child's new teacher will be calling you in the near future to introduce themselves and answer any questions you may have. As I am sure many of you have seen today, there will also be 'Meet the Teacher' Zoom sessions for all classes from Reception to Year 5 on Monday 20th July. Earlier today the protocol and times for this were posted in school story. On Monday, along with the report, your child's current teacher will be sending you the log in details to the meeting. Your child's current teacher and their new teacher will be present. Please ensure you have read and follow the protocol. This is vital in terms of safeguarding everyone as I am sure you all understand.

Remember to look out for our virtual Achievement Assembly tomorrow morning just after 9.00am, where I will be announcing this week's Home Learning Heroes. Remember also to look out for Hot Chocolate with the Head at 2.30pm tomorrow. I hope you have enjoyed story time with Miss Tolaini yesterday.

REMEMBER OCA NEED YOUR HELP! It is the final day of the sponsored event tomorrow. Well done to all those who have taken part. If you have managed to get any sponsors, once collected please either pay the money in via your child's sQuid account or bring the money to the school. Thank you so much in advance.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Keep going Team Clockhouse, we will be together again soon. But in the meantime please know how exceptionally proud of you we all are and how much we truly miss you!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay positive everyone, keep going!
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
