Day 85 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

As we come to the end of week 17 of this time and we get closer to the end of term, we all wanted to say another massive thank you to you all for the support, compassion and genuine understanding you have shown to the school during this time. As a community we have come together for the good of the children and are so, so proud of them.

A huge well done to our Year 6 who, for the majority, finished their time with us today. You have put us through our paces but have been a fabulous year group. It should not have been this way but you have certainly had a final year at primary school like no other before you (and hopefully after you). We hope you enjoyed your leaver's assembly today. Well done also to the children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 3 who also finished with us today. It has been so lovely to see you back at school and we are all already looking forward to September. On behalf of myself and all the staff, thank you for all the kind cards and gifts, totally unnecessary but so lovely!

Well done to you all for all the fabulous learning you have completed this week whether that be at home or at school. It is so lovely to see what you are all getting up to. Again, this week you have not only impressed your teacher and myself but also your new teacher. For those who wish to join the staff are looking forward to seeing you on Zoom next week. Please be aware there is no pressure to do this.

Highlights of the Week:
All your amazing home learning and the things you have been getting up to at home and at school are a highlight of every week and can be seen in the photos below. Other highlights this week have to be:
  • Although sad, saying goodbye to Year 6 and wishing them well as they start the next phase of their educational journey.
  • You all receiving your school reports, thank you for the lovely feedback.
  • The Values series coming out to you, out 5th value - excellence was launched today, the last one will come out tomorrow.
  • Receiving lots more amazing gifts from our Amazon Wish List - thank to you all. Please follow the link below, if you wish to take a look and send us a gift - Amazon Wish List. Thank you in advance.
These are just a few, there really are so many more! What has been your highlight of the week?

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that you are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

If you do have any feedback for us about what we are doing and how we can improve, please do let us know.

All that leaves me to say is, thank you for your continued support and kind words at what is such a difficult time for us all and from all at Clockhouse Primary School have a great weekend! Three more get up to the holiday.

Enjoy the selection of photos below!
