Day 75 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

So here we are at the end of week 15. Well done to you all for all the fabulous learning you have completed this week whether that be at home or at school. It is so lovely to see what you are all getting up to. This week you have not only impressed your teacher and myself but also your new teacher and they are all getting so excitied about meeting you in September. Team Clockhouse you really are a credit to our wonderful school.

It has been such a lovely week seeing more children back at school. The way they have all adapted has continued to amaze us all. It has also been lovely to see parents back at the gate. Thank you for your understanding with the new arrangements and the trust you have shown in us all, it really is humbling and just reminds us even more how much we have missed you. As you may have heard from September all children will be expected to be back as school so that glimmer of a light at the end of a very long tunnel is certainly shining a bit brighter as we get to the end of this week.

Highlights of the Week:
All your amazing home learning and the things you have been getting up to at home and at school are a highlight of every week and can be seen in the photos below. Other highlights this week have to be:
  • Children taking part in the Havering Youth Games - Virtual Games and an ex-pupil leading one of the events.
  • Having Zoom meetings with the parents and families of children who will be joining us in September in Nursery, it was lovely to see you all.
  • Year 2, 3, 4 and 5 returning to school.
  • The teaching staff completeing lots of training to prepare them for September.
  • All the things that have been shared to help new teachers get to know you all!
These are just a few, there really are so many more! What has been your highlight of the week?

OCA are very much hoping that you have been busy getting sponsors for next week's sponsored event! We are looking forward to seeing lots of you taking part!

Next week the focus of the children's learning will be 'Where will we be'? Learning will all be based around the country name of their new classroom. We hope the children enjoy the learning set and all get involved - time to keep impressing your current and new teacher! This learning will also be covered for those who are in school.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that you are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

If you do have any feedback for us about what we are doing and how we can improve, please do let us know.

All that leaves me to say is, thank you for your continued support and kind words at what is such a difficult time for us all and from all at Clockhouse Primary School have a great weekend!

Enjoy the selection of photos below!

We miss you all
