Day 84 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

It is so hard to believe that we are nearly at the end of the term. When our doors closed on 20th March, I never dreamt that we would not see many of you back this side of the summer holiday. Despite this, I hope you agree, we have tried to make the best of each situation that has been thrown at us and because of the united community we are getting through it together. As always thank you for your on-going support.

We all hope you are keeping well and, of course, that the children are working hard and doing their best whether it be at home or at school. Just like last week, we have been so impressed with the work that has been coming in from our virtual school this week. We hope the children have enjoyed reflecting on the year they have had even thought it has been so different. Well done to everyone who has been doing this in our virtual school as well as those from Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 3, Year 6 and Team Hawaii who have been back at school today. With the exception of Team Hawaii as I as sure you know tomorrow will be their last day. We will still in school until Wednesday preparing for next year. I can promise you that I will communicate some of our plans with you next week and communication, all be it reduced, will continue during the holiday for those who want to read / see this.

As I am sure you know the 'Meet the Teacher' Zoom sessions for all classes from Reception to Year 5 will be on Monday 20th July for those who want to join us. I know current and new teachers are looking forward to these.

I hope you enjoyed our 4th video in our values series, today's video showcased our value of learning.

Remember to look out for our virtual Achievement Assembly tomorrow morning just after 9.00am, where I will be announcing this week's Home Learning Heroes. Remember also to look out for Hot Chocolate with the Head at 2.30pm tomorrow. I hope you have enjoyed story time with Miss Tolaini yesterday.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Keep going Team Clockhouse, we will be together again soon. But in the meantime please know how exceptionally proud of you we all are and how much we truly miss you!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
You have all been so strong during this time, keep going! I think we can all take something from the below quote!
Stay positive everyone, keep going!
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
