Day 86 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

We hope you all had a lovely weekend, are safe and well and enjoyed whatever you have got up to. It seems impossible to believe that we are in the final week of the Summer Term let alone the whole year, but here we are.

Today Team Hawaii have been in school along with a small number of school staff and everyone has ha da good day. Your current and new teachers have loved seeing you on Zoom, we hope you enjoyed the session and found them useful as well as reassuring at this difficult time. I know it is not the same but I am hoping the saying 'something is better than nothing' is true in this case. Any feedback welcome, I know the teaching staff were positive.

It has also been lovely to welcome some of our new Recpetion children today as well as some of the new children joining Greenland. We are looking forward to seeing more new Reception children tomorrow.

I hope you enjoyed the final video in our final video in our values series, which came out over the weekend showcasing our final value of community. We really hope the videos have helped you understand our values more whilst also showcasing what we do.

Somethings to look out for this week
Whilst we are not together and it is a shorter week, there are still things to look out for:
  • The next Votes for Schools information and vote - all about learning about the world.
  • My weekly Tuesday video message which will include some basic information about September.
  • Our special goodbye video from us all.
  • Our annual review of the year.
  • Our final virtual Assembly of the year which will be announcing our annual Governor awards.
Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
I received the below poem from a family last week and thought it was so lovely! I do think we are definately stronger!
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
