Day 78 of the Clockhouse family

Good evening Clockhouse

We hope you have all had a good day, such a same about the weather which just makes it that little bit harder in my view. Still hopefully it will brighten up soon!

Today has been a busy day. This morning the Middle Leadership Team met and we spoke about last few weeks of term as well as preparations for September, we are getting there, slowly but surely. We will communicate plans with you when we are in the right position to do so. Again, as has been the case the whole way through, I will always be honest with you and will not make any promises I cannot deliver.

Look out for the Zoom Meeting information that will be coming out before the end of the week. Along with this opportunity to say goodbye to your child's current teacher and meet their new teacher (Reception to Year 5), your child's new teacher will also be calling you to introduce themselves so please keep an eye out for their call.

Please be aware that, with the exception of Key Workers, next week will be the last week of school for children. If you child has returned to school on a Monday and Tuesday, Tuesday 14th July will be their last day. If they have returned on a Thursday and Friday, Friday 17th July will be their last day. Team Hawaii will remain in school until Wednesday 22nd July. Children from Year 1 to Year 6 will return to school on Monday 7th September. We will be in touch soon with those starting Nursery or Reception.

Anyway, back to this week! As it is Wednesday, Team Hawaii have been the only children in school today. They have had a good day and we are very much looking forward to seeing some of the Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children at school again tomorrow.

Well done to all those who have done their sponsored exercise today, their mountain climbers have been impressive - press ups tomorrow! Do not forget that we have our next virtual assembly on Friday. The teachers are still looking for their next Home Learning Heroes! Keep working hard team Clockhouse.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
I shared the below quote at the beginning of lockdown, we have come so far and are so much closer to more normality returning (I hope)!
Have a lovely evening.
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
