Day 80 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

As we come to the end of week 16 of this strange time and look towards the end of term, I wanted to say another massive thank you to you all for the support, compassion and genuine understanding you have shown to the school during this time. As a community we have come together and continue to fight through each stage as the family we are. I would also like, on your behalf, to extend this thanks to the staff, who I hope you will agree, have been simply fabulous at each step of the way. We are so lucky that we have such a committed team who truly have the children's best interests at heart.

I am sure by now many of you have seen the questionnaire we are asking you to complete, but if you have not done so yet, or have not seen it, please can I ask that you take 5 minutes to help up and click on the link below to complete the questionnaire. It is for the good of your children and the information parents are giving us is proving useful for us to support the return to school in September:

Well done to you all for all the fabulous learning you have completed this week whether that be at home or at school. It is so lovely to see what you are all getting up to. Again, this week you have not only impressed your teacher and myself but also your new teacher. Team Clockhouse you really are a credit to our wonderful school.

Highlights of the Week:
All your amazing home learning and the things you have been getting up to at home and at school are a highlight of every week and can be seen in the photos below. Other highlights this week have to be:
  • Children taking part in our OCA event. Thank you to you all! Time to get collecting your sponsorship money. This can be brought into school or paid in via your sQuid account.
  • The teaching staff completing lots more training to prepare them for September.
  • All the amazing facts the children have been learning about their new class countries - amazing!
  • Receiving lots of amazing gifts from our Amazon Wish List - thank to you all. Please follow the link below, if you wish to take a look and send us a gift - Amazon Wish List. Thank you in advance.
These are just a few, there really are so many more! What has been your highlight of the week?

Next week the focus of the children's learning will be 'Time To Say Goodbye'. Learning will all be based on the last year with some fun and exciting activities planned. We hope the children enjoy the learning set and all get involved - keep impressing your current and new teacher! This learning will also be covered for those who are in school.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that you are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

If you do have any feedback for us about what we are doing and how we can improve, please do let us know.

All that leaves me to say is, thank you for your continued support and kind words at what is such a difficult time for us all and from all at Clockhouse Primary School have a great weekend!
