Day 88 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

Well here we are at the end of the summer term and at the end of the year. We got to Day 88 of the Clockhouse Family and although this will be the last of my daily updates, I also do not want to ‘disappear’ for six weeks - this pandemic continues to unfold and I know this is not going to be a normal summer holiday. Do not panic, I will respect your time away from Clockhouse, but I will also be in touch periodically with updates as needs be. We will also be sending out challenges and things to keep you busy should you wish to get involved.

Where has the last 18 weeks, or for that matter the year, gone! It has been such a tough year for us all but equally there is so much to celebrate. Before the end of the week,  I will be sending you our annual review of the year, along with a video to celebrate Clockhouse 2019-2020 - look out for this.

I hope you enjoyed our 'Pass the Pen' message sent earlier today. We had lots of fun making this and I can assure you, it was not just Miss Ward who kept dropping the pen! We also hope you enjoyed our final virtual assembly of the year. Congratulations to our Governor Award Winners! Certificates will be given out in September.

We had a lovely final day with Team Hawaii in school. They have been nothing short of amazing during this time and I know we will all miss our Hawaii bubble. We also said some sad farewells to staff today, always hard but we wish them well for their next adventure.

Things to look out for during the holiday:
  • The Clockhouse Year Book Video
  • A Clockhouse Journal for you to complete should you wish to
  • Stories read by staff
  • Art tutorials and ideas
  • Science experiments
  • Sport challenges
  • Reading challenges
  • Fitness work out
And more I am sure!

Please keep in touch during the summer using #ourclockhousefamily with things that you are up to and remember if you need us, you can contact us via Dojo.

All that leaves me to say is, have a great summer and thank you for your continued support and kind words during the whole of 2019-2020. What a year it has been! Have a great one team Clockhouse! We cannot wait to see you all in September!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling
We miss you all
Mrs Savidge
